Dr. Michael Yuan, CEO Michael Yuan is a recognized expert in mobile and Internet software development. He published 5 books and over 40 articles in this area. Michael has extensive experience managing startup teams, building developer communities, and delivering consumer software. Prior to Ringful, Michael worked in product and technology leadership roles in JBoss, Red Hat, and eZee.

Dr. Koushik Shaw, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shaw is a Urologist, Renal Transplant Surgeon, and book author. He is a leader in robotic and oncologic surgery and leads one of the few teams in central Texas that performs complex robotics cases involving reconstructive and oncologic work as well as being involved in teaching and proctoring these cases to surgeons new in the field. Dr. Shaw frequently appears on TV to educate the public about prostate, bladder, and kidney health, and is active in health care education to his patients as well as in routine community seminars. He brings in medical expertise to the team to help Ringful create healthcare apps that are used to optimize the doctor-patient relationship.

Kim Johnson, General Manager Mr. Johnson is focused on non-profit outreach and government grants. He has over 25 years in senior management positions with media and technology companies including Primestar Partners which grew from a start up operation to over $1 Billion in annual service revenues. His expertise includes building scalable service operations, distribution strategy, and deploying consumer electronics technologies.

Phillip Thurmond, Chief Software Architect Phillip has an extensive experience with highly scalable, middleware applications. Before joining Ringful, Phillip worked at Red Hat Inc. for 3 years, where he was in charge of quality and scalability of JBoss – the number one middleware application server.

Anastasiya Dimitrova, Business Development Manager Anastasiya has led business development and regional sales for consumer products companies in Europe. She manages business development leads at Ringful.

Management Team

Dr. Chun-su Yuan Dr. Yuan is the Cryus Tang Professor in the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. He has published over 150 research papers on new drug development, and is a practicing physician. Dr. Yuan led the preclinical and early clinical trials of methylnaltrexone, which resulted in FDA approval in 2008 for Relistor and is now available in over 30 countries. Dr. Yuan is also a physician consultant for major pharmaceutical companies, venture firms, and law firms.

Steve Andrade Steve Andrade is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of operating experience specializing in the application of technology to improve human health. He has led the growth and innovation at businesses ranging from early stage start-ups to large diversified corporations and across the technology, life sciences and health care industries. Steve was Group Vice President and General Manager at Siebel Systems where he built the life sciences business into a global market leader with profitable double digit growth. After the acquisition of Siebel Systems, he led Oracle Corporation's global Health Sciences Business Unit as Senior Vice President and General Manager. Later, Steve was the CEO at DecisionView where he led a successful turnaround of that early stage clinical technology company. Steve continues to help drive the convergence of technology, healthcare and life sciences as an advisory board member of several companies.

Joanne Rohde Ms Rohde is the CEO of Axial Project Inc., a company focused on using Open Source software to bring radical changes to Healthcare IT. She is formerly the COO and director of Health IT at Red Hat, where she oversaw revenue growth from $100 million to $500 million. Prior to Red Hat, Ms. Rohde was the CIO of UBS Investment Banking IT, where she managed an annual budge of over $1 Billion, and 1500 mission critical systems.

Ivelin Ivanov Ivelin brings 15 years of international software development and product management experience. Ivelin has 7 years of experience with leading software architecture and design at established companies such as BMC Software Inc. and Red Hat Inc. Throughout his professional career, Ivelin has bootstrapped 4 and joined 3 early stage technology companies, most recently JBoss and Mobicents. He is a recognized contributor and project leader in the Open Source Software community.
